Blue Grass Tours will be offering some special stops on our daily tours during WEG. Today we will have a wonderful 3 hour tour of the area that includes a visit to world-renowned Claiborne farm. Now in its 100th year of breeding and raising Thoroughbred racehorses, Claiborne has been home to many champions including Secretariat, Mr. Prospecter, and Bold Ruler and currently has 10 stallions standing at
stud. Tour see the stallions, tour the breeding shed and visit the cemetary. Our next stop will be a visit to Adena Springs farm in Paris, Kentucky, known for its passion for the Thoroughbred racing and breeding industries. The stallion roster at Adena Springs includes winners of both the Kentucky Derby and the Epsom Derby. Along the way we will see many other signature farms and hear entertaining narration from our professional guides.

Enjoy a comfortable ride on a deluxe coach to tour world-famous Three Chimneys Farm’s stallion complex. Professional guided narration of the Bluegrass and the Thoroughbred industry will be given to and from the farm. Take a walking tour at Three Chimneys and see the statue in honor of Triple Crown winner Seattle Slew who stood at stud at the farm for many years. Visit the breeding shed and learn about the breeding process. Tour the stallion barns and see these amazing champions up close. Complete your experience with a stop at the Three Chimneys Visitor Center. Come enjoy a beautiful Thoroughbred farm that has been home to famous stallions such as Smarty Jones, Point Given, and Dynaformer. WEEKEND AFTERNOON DAILY TOUR DURING WEG
1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Blue Grass Tours will be offering some special stops on our daily tours during WEG. During our weekend afternoon tours (9/25, 9/26, 10/2, 10/3, 10/9 & 10/10), we will have a wonderful 3 hour tour of the area that includes a visit to Adena Springs farm in Paris, Kentucky, known for its passion for the Thoroughbred racing and breeding industries. The stallion roster at Adena Springs includes winners of both the Kentucky Derby and the Epsom Derby. Our next stop will be Denali Stud, an industry standard-bearer that has been a leading consignor every year this decade grossing over $250,000,000 in sales since 2000. Tour the broodmare division with distinguished boarders including champion 3-year old filly Serena’s Song. Along the way we will see many other signature farms and hear entertaining narration from our professional guides.

WINE & BLUEGRASS UNDER THE STARS
4:30 PM - 10:30 PM
$125 per person (tour includes dinner)
Enjoy a full evening of breathtaking scenery, fine wine, great food and energized regional entertainment - Kentucky style! Blue Grass Tours will comfortably take you to award-winning Acres of Land Winery in Richmond, Kentucky for an evening you won’t forget. Enjoy a tasting of 5 Acres of Land wines from 5 - 7 pm. A bar will be available during the evening for wine and beer purchases. A delicious buffet of Southern cuisine from 6 - 7:30 pm will include Fried Chicken, Pot Roast, Green Beans, Glazed Carrots, Scalloped Potatoes, Pasta Salad, and Fruit Cobbler. Complete the evening with a Kentucky Musical Heritage Show starting at 7:30 pm. Screens will provide a visual depiction of the history of Kentucky music while over 50 performers entertain including Appalachian, Bluegrass, Traditional Country, and Celtic music and Square Dancers and Cloggers!
